Bobcats win pair in ’26 opening weekend!

The Tonbridge Bobcats started their 2026 season on April 19th against the Mariners at Williams Field in Hadlow, Kent.

After a tight first two innings, in which the Bobcats scored 4 and the Mariners notched 5, the Bobcats pulled away in the final two innings to win 15-5. Chris Henderson was the starting pitcher for Tonbridge–he completed all all four innings, got seven strikeouts and allowed only three walks.
In Game 2 on April 19th, the Bobcats and Mariners battled in a high scoring game, with a dramatic finish for the final out of the game to secure the win for the Bobcats.
