The Tonbridge Bobcats secured double wins against the Hildenborough Hurricanes on May 17th in what was the visiting team’s opening games of the season.
Game1
Building on what has already been a very promising start to the year, the Bobcats started game 1 strong–scoring the maximum number of runs in the first and third innings. The Hurricanes surged back in the fourth inning to pull within three of the hosts, but ultimately a high fly ball caught by Bing Xie ended the game 10-13. Notable plays included captain Niall Cafferty’s first double and stolen base of the season.
