The Tonbridge Bobcats played the Hildenborough Hurricanes June 14th in a double-header in the British Baseball Federation Division 5 South. The games were played at Sackville School, in Hildenborough, Kent with Game 1 starting at midday.
Game1
The visiting Bobcats started the game with an ideal first inning, scoring the maximum 5 runs and then denying the hosting Hurricanes any runs. Mike Calamito pitched the entire game for the Bobcats, recording two strikeouts but yielding only two walks. The Bobcats turned in a solid team performance, on defense and offense, earning 13 walks and recording zero errors in the field. Kit Hawes-Webb, Chris Henderson, and Chris Walmsley each scored three times. A strong showing in the 5th and 6th innings led to the Bobcats prevailing 15 – 10.

Game 2
The Tonbridge Bobcats defeated the Hildenborough Hurricanes in the second game of the day, with a final score of 12 to 9. Mike Bartlett was the starting pitcher and earned the win, by pitching four innings and allowing seven runs. Grant Theis pitched in relief, completing the final two innings whilst allowing only two runs. Theis and Liam Berry each notched three hits, Berry stole five bases, and the Bobcats defense committed zero errors. Tonbridge improved its record to 10-4 on the season.
